So today I went to a baby shower, there were probably 20 ladies there.
I was shocked by the adorable gifts that most people gave. The mom to be registered at Babies R Us, however less than half of the guests bought their gifts from there.
Most people had purchased gifts that were from local vendors/shops.
For example, one person's friend designs clothing that intended to have people leave a pregnant mom alone...on the front of the blue shirt it says "boy" in pale blue cursive text. So cute.
Another person bought onesies made out of bamboo fiber, they were so soft, and sold at a shop in L.A. One mom, made blankets to give. I bought a little onesies that had a snap on tie! OMG, adorable. It was from a local store called Art N Soul, all of the profits go to local charities.
Anyhow, I could go on, but I'll spare myself. I was pleasantly surprised by such creative gifts, the shower was fun. I even wanted a baby of my own for a few seconds :)
